The Volunteers for Education and Environmental
Rehabilitation (VEER)
is the network of volunteers of UDERC working in
Multan city of southern Punjab, Pakistan. These volunteers are students of Nishtar
Medical College Multan.

UDERC approved to establish the VEER Network in Multan upon the request of
Mr.
Ghulam Moheyy Ud Din,
a student of Nishtar Medical College, who participated
in the International Seminar on
Health Impact Assessment and Risk Mitigation of
Arsenic Contamination in Rural Areas through Community Participation held on April
5-6, 2006 at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore.

VEER Multan (Established on 21th April, 2006)
The VEER Network in Multan is lead by the students of  Nishtar Medical College
Multan. The following body has been approved by UDERC to start environmental
campaigns in Multan.
