Dear Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman

This is a response to your email to the President of Pakistan Association,
Japan regarding the introduction of S&T Committee of the association.

I, Arshad Ali, hereby on behalf of the S&T Commitee of Pakistan
Association Japan and Science and Technology Expatriates of Pakistan
(STEP), Japan, would like to thank you very much for your message as well as
offering opportunity to establish collaboration between HEC and Japanese
universities. This shows that how much hard Pakistan is working for
uplifting standards of scientific research under your sincere
leadership.

It would be an honor for all of us to work together under your guidance as we
are dedicated and committed to implement our skills, experience and
expertise in Pakistan by staying in Japan. We are working as a bridge
between Pakistan and Japan for the sake of development of our
motherland.

The S&T Commitee will organize a scientific seminar, first of its kind, covering
most of the disciplines of natural sciences on 18th March, 2006.

The title of the seminar would be "1st Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar
(ISS)". The objective of the seminar is to create understanding among the
scientists in particular and share the scientific needs of Pakistan in general.
The first circular of the seminar will reach you soon.

Best regards,

Sincerely yours,

Arshad Ali
